Keith Kirchoff

Pianist and composer Keith Kirchoff has performed throughout North America, Europe, and the Pacific Southwest. A strong advocate for modern music, Kirchoff is committed to fostering new audiences for contemporary music and giving a voice to emerging composers, and to that end has premiered over 100 new works and commissioned over two dozen compositions. Specializing on works which combine interactive electro-acoustics with solo piano, Kirchoff's Electroacoustic Piano Tour has been presented in ten countries, and has spawned three solo albums.

Dana Jessen

Praised for her diverse talents, bassoonist Dana Jessen is in high demand as a soloist, chamber musician, improviser and new music specialist. Dana is the co-founder of Splinter Reeds, a San Francisco-based reed quintet and has performed with the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, Alarm Will Sound, Ensemble Dal Niente, Anthony Braxton's Tri-Centric Orchestra, S.E.M. Ensemble, Calefax Quintet, Rushes Ensemble, Pamela Z, Lucky Dragons, and the Amsterdam Contemporary Ensemble, among others.

Christian Scott - 2020 Alpert Award Winner in Music

Chief Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah (born March 31, 1983, in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a two-time Edison Award winning and five-time Grammy Award nominated musician, composer and producer. He is the nephew of jazz innovator and legendary sax man, Donald Harrison, Jr. His musical tutelage began under the direction of his uncle at the age of thirteen. After graduating from the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) in 2001, Adjuah received a full tuition scholarship to Berklee College of Music where he earned a degree in Professional Music and Film Scoring thirty months later.

Adam Vidiksis

Adam Vidiksis is a composer, conductor, percussionist, improviser, and technologist based in Philadelphia whose music often explores social structures, science, and the intersection of humankind with the machines we build. Critics have called his music “mesmerizing”, “dramatic”, “striking” (Philadelphia Weekly), “notable”, “catchy” (WQHS), “magical” (Local Arts Live), and “special” (Percussive Notes), and have noted that Vidiksis provides “an electronically produced frame giving each sound such a deep-colored radiance you could miss the piece's shape for being caught up in each moment” (Philadelphia Inquirer).

Marta Honer, Ro Rowan, and Scottie McNiece

This panel discussion seeks to aid and empower creatives within the musical field to ensure that the ownership and monetization of their work is protected and collected for properly on their behalf. With a panel including two active session musicians and an owner of a record label that heralds jazz and experimental music, we are looking forward to covering a variety of topics including navigating working with a PRO and publishing your work, as well as how different residuals and royalties are created and how to collect them.

Godwin Louis

Godwin Louis, alto saxophonist, was born in Harlem, New York and began playing saxophone at age nine. Godwin grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut and Port au Prince, Haiti. Godwin was a finalist in the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Saxophone Competition. He has performed around the globe. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute for Jazz Performance. As a composer, Godwin has received the Jerome Foundation Emerging Artist Grant, and the Jazz Gallery's "New Works Commission".

Manu Toigo

Manu Toigo is a well-known survivalist, teacher, and celebrity personality known from her TV appearances on Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid; - Double Jeopardy. She was also Host of ‘Ammo and Attitude’ Season 3. She created her own Adventure Company focusing more on the Wilderness and Wildlife conservation and protection and Environmental Education. She also instructs and teaches Wilderness Survival. Her most recent accomplishment is the release of her first published book “Survive The Wild Unknown” and has been invited to speak at public events.
