Justin Bardales is an LA-based composer, multi-instrumentalist & educator. Justin has traveled and spent time studying music in Ghana and India which form a foundation for his compositional approach and has studied composition with Bernardo Feldman and Ulrich Krieger. In addition to scoring for both short and feature films, he is composer and conductor for the orchestra Large Shiva. Justin is a member of Zadonu African Music & Dance Company and has performed with Hands On'Semble, an award winning percussion ensemble, as well as performing alongside such esteemed artists as Randy Gloss, Kobla Ladzekpo, Abbos Kosimov, Poovalur Sriji, Brad Dutz, Lian Ensemble, Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri & Sulley Imoro. Justin has taught with the Community Arts Partnership, Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra along with the California State Summer School of the Arts. In addition to CalArts, Justin has performed and lectured in Ghana, India, Mexico and throughout the United States.
