Javier Gonzalez is a freelance trumpet player in the greater Los Angeles area. Born and raised in Los Angeles he earned his Bachelor of Music and Masters in Fine Arts degrees from California Institute of the Arts.
Since 2016, Javier has been principal trumpet and orchestrator for Dancing with the Stars house band “Ray Chew Live”. Additionally, he has performed on the popular tv series American Idol and The Voice where he’s had many opportunities to perform with Grammy Award winning and nominated artists like Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle, Quincy Jones, Tony Bennet, Harry Connick Jr., David Foster, Micheal Buble, Bruce Springsteen, Dr. Dre, Lady GaGa, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Chaka Khan, Shania Twain, Miley Cyrus, Billy Eilish, Finneas O’Connell, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Josh Groban, Usher, Gwen Stefani, Blake Sheldon, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj, Robin Thick, Keith Urban, Adam Levine, Lionel Richie, Ceelo Green, Steven Tyler, Shawn Mendes, Jordan Smith, Randy Jackson, Enrique Iglesias, Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocceli, Johnny Mathis, Frankie Valli and many, many others.

Additionally, Javier performs at the Hollywood Pantages, Dolby Theater and Pasadena Playhouse for various broadway musical engagements.
