Rommel Herve

Sculptor, sound artist, essayist, and director of Qaliticum_lcs. He completed a master's degree in contemporary art, studied philosophy, spiritual theology, and literary creation workshops. Rommel is a professor at the University of the Arts of Caracas, in the areas of Sculpture and Sound Art. He investigates sound as a matter between disciplines as visual, sonorous, literary, and reflexive through the creation of an artistic language, the Qalitic.

Ben Williams

For more than a decade, Williams has steadily become one of the most acclaimed and versatile bassists in modern jazz. In 2009, he won the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. He has performed/recorded with such giants as Pat Metheny, George Benson, Stefon Harris, David Sanborn, Lauryn Hill, Wynton Marsalis, Robert Glasper, Maxwell, and Nicholas Payton. In 2013 and 2015 Williams received the DownBeat Magazine Critics Poll Rising Star Award for Bass. Williams became a “Rising Star” when he won the 2009 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Bass Competition Award that landed him his first record-deal with Concord Records. Thereafter, he recorded and released State of Art in 2011 with his band, Sound Effect. The Album received an impressive 4.5 Star Review in DownBeat Magazine and reached #1 on the charts of iTunes and the National BillBoard. He was named the 2011 iTtunes Breakthrough Artist of the Year in the category of jazz.

Martin Gimenez

A CalArts alum (School of Theater), Martin is a Los Angeles- based sound and video designer whose work spans theatre, opera, immersive installations, rock concerts and everything in between. Career highlights include the operas Crescent City and Invisible Cities with The Industry, Deaf West’s American Buffalo, The Speakeasy Society’s The Johnny Cycle and video design for Neil Frances at the 2018’s Life is Beautiful festival.

R.S. Buck

R. S. Buck is an international lighting designer for theatre, dance, and opera, and a multimedia artist in immersive and interactive experiences. In LA, they have designed at the Kirk Douglas (postponed due to COVID), The Broad Stage, and The Ford, among others. They designed CAGES by Woolf and the Wondershow, a critically acclaimed experiential spectacle in DTLA. Buck is a Collaborating Artist with the In[HEIR]itance Project, as a Production Designer and Manager. Internationally, they have designed in Japan, Israel, China, and Mexico. Buck holds an MFA from California Institute of the Arts in Experience Design and Production.

Joel Ross

Ross has topped the DownBeat Critics Poll Rising Star category for vibraphone — graduating beyond the Rising Star to well-honed artist in 2021 — as well as the Jazz Journalists Association Critics Poll for Mallet Instrumentalist of the Year in 2020 and 2021. He recently became one of the youngest artists to earn a coveted Residency Commission from The Jazz Gallery and a spot in The Jazz Gallery All Stars band through which he performed live at The Kennedy Center. Joel Ross continues refining an expression that’s true to his sound and his generation.

Ryan Kattner

Ryan Kattner is a musician, film/theater composer, screenwriter, actor, music supervisor, multi-hyphenate living in Los Angeles. Texas-born, he grew up in the Philippines, South Carolina, Germany, Illinois, Alabama and Missouri before finally settling in Philadelphia and pouring his scattered upbringing into his bands Man Man (Anti/Epitaph, Sub Pop) and Mister Heavenly (Polyvinyl Records). He lives in Los Angeles and was once chased by a skunk while trying to exercise.

Colloboh

Introducing Colloboh - experimental producer Collins Oboh. Born in Nigeria, raised in the DMV, and now at 27 years of age, Colloboh asserts himself as a no-nonsense contender of electronic music composition utilizing modular synthesizer. With the release of his 2021 Entity Relation EP and opening for beloved dream pop duo Beach House on their ‘Once Twice Melody’ tour, Colloboh has began to cultivate a following eager to listen to his forward-thinking musical arrangements.
