I grew up in Germany, learning music at 5 years old, and classical violin at 6. Early
on I was drawn to contemporary music, being part of an international organization for furthering new music, Korrespondenzen, in Baden-Baden.
I spent my early twenties in Berlin, where I performed with variousf bands, visual artists, dancers, poets, and DJs, as well as playing solo
improvisations in Berlin's night and art scene. I moved to Oakland, California, in 1999 to pursue a BA
majoring in Electronic Music at Mills College. I also have an MFA in composition/new media from the California Institute of
the Arts.
Currently I live in Sebastopol, CA. In addition to musical ventures and teaching improvisation and violin, I offer Gestalt Therapy, Money Healing and Communication Coaching, and sessions and attunements into Usui Reiki. I am also very immersed in the study of Non-Violent Communication with Bay NCV. CD Angel Peak
