The site was created in 1994 by Mark Chung and began as a list of jazz violin players, later expanding to include viola and cello. Most well-known and recorded players are represented, along with under-recognized players or up and coming talent. The organization of the site and selection of which players and recordings are highlighted are purely personal but suggestions are welcome. Please try the Search feature on the upper right of the page. This will return a list of pages, then use your browser search feature to search within the page. If you don't find a page where the person is listed, I may not have heard of the player. |
