Born April 12th 1953. Began violin lessons at age 9. Studied jazz
     violin with Joe Venuti in the two years prior to Joe's passing in
     1978. He is currently living near Seattle, Washington teaching and
     playing violin. He performs with his own group, Paul Anastasio and his
     Swing Cats, and as a member of the group Pearl Django, which
     specializes in the music of Django Reinhardt. Paul is available for
     lessons and workshops, and sells tapes and CD's of his swing/jazz
     music and that of Joe Venuti through his record company, Swing Cat Enterprises.
