Re: BeOS WannaBeeZ ?
I have a beos box, a 7600/180MP with 2 604e processors. Video support for
the apple is not what I would like. BeOS from what I understand runs much
better on intel hardware and building yourself a dual celeron system with
an abit dual celeron motherboard is a very cheap solution. BeOS supports
intel hardware better, including some intel based video capture devices.
Also the coolest part about beos is that you can use it to scratch. Final
Scratch is hardware/software that allows you to use turntables to scratch
mp3's - http://www.n2it.net/finalscratch/index.html - which is for Intel
hardware only. Though what my mac does perfecty - output video thru svideo
, I cant do in beos. Besides, beos doesnt have X-Pose, Image/Ine, Nirvana
Engine, or PixelToy. So i'll stick with my insanely great G4 :)
