International Programs
CalArts participates in international programs with the following institutions.
Semester Exchanges
MFA and BFA students may be eligible for these international semester exchange programs. For semester exchanges, BFA students usually must have completed all 200-level music theory and skills requirements before participating in an exchange. MFA students usually have spent at least one semester at CalArts and have completed Grad Theory Review and Grad Skills Review (if required).

Residencies
Studio for Electro-Instrumental Music (STEIM) (Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
Each year since 2007, graduate music students from CalArts have participated in a two-week residency at STEIM in where intensive collaboration has culminated in a concert of their work. Further details are available on CalArts' Experimental Sound Practices microsite.
